Episode 17 – Steve Stewart Is A Personal Finance Architect

It’s great to speak with fellow believers who have a like-minded passion for biblical finance! In this episode, I had the great pleasure of interviewing a new friend of mine who also hosts a weekly podcast.

Steve Stewart is a self proclaimed ‘Personal Finance Architect’.  He’s the voice behind the microphone over at the Money Plan SOS podcast and his desire is not to help people manage their debt.  His desire is to teach people how to eliminate debt. As he coaches clients, both in-person and through his show, he guides them on how to use a budget to build a firm foundation and then how to secure the four financial walls around them, topped off with a good roof for fiscal shelter.  His ‘Financial House of Freedom‘ serves as an excellent example of how to move from the bondage of credit to the freedom of wealth.

One of his favorite passages of scripture to teach from is Matthew chapter 25.  The parable of the talents is deeply practical for believers as we need to understand how God wants us to manage what we have for His glory and good pleasure.

While at his website, be sure to watch some of Steve’s video’s.  Here’s the one that was referenced in the show – Credit Cards Are Like Cereal.

Steve is also a regular guest over at the Living In Financial Excellence podcast that is hosted by Matt Wegner.

My pleasure Matt.
Thanks for all the thought and effort you put into your show! It’s been great getting to know both you and Steve Stewart these past few weeks.

Thanks for having Steve on the show Glen. Steve has become a real good friend this past year and he truly walks the walk! He really wants to help people with their money and he does it in creative ways.

Glen Steinson

I love his creative videos.
He’s the only personal finance coach who would go to the store and purchase every available size of Mountain Dew to teach kids the value of a dollar!
