An Interview with the Host of the ‘Kernels of Wheat’ podcast
I found Jim through iTunes. His new podcast has some great artwork that jumps off the screen at you. After corresponding via e-mail, we enjoyed a recorded telephone conversation together. He submitted the following details about himself;
Jim Kerwin was saved by the Lord Jesus Christ in 1968. Ordained since 1971, most of Jim’s adult life has been spent in full-time teaching and pastoral ministries. Ready to serve wherever he’s sent, Jim has been privileged to minister in a variety of countries, as well as closer to home in Canada and the U.S. He heads up Finest of the Wheat Teaching Fellowship, a small local assembly of believers with a large and growing online Bible-teaching ministry (www.FinestOfTheWheat.org), featuring free articles, audios, and books. He also posts a weekly Bible-teaching podcast at www.KernelsOfWheat.com. Since his late-in-life return to graduate school (Regent University School of Divinity, where he earned a Master’s degree in Biblical Studies in 2005), Jim has also authored and edited four books and is working on two more. Through Denise, his wife of nearly forty years, God proves to Jim every day the truth of Proverbs 18:22, and together they are the parents of three daughters and two granddaughters.

Thanks very much for having me on the show. It was an honor to be interviewed. (Whether I’ll ever live down the title of the episode is another matter entirely!
